Bailey Ranger 470/4 – 2005 – £5795

The lightweight Bailey Ranger 470/4 is a great little tourer that can hitch up to virtually any towcar as its MTPLM weighs in at just 1,179kg. The four-berth caravan has a layout that affords it a large end bathroom complete with shower unit, Thetford swivel toilet and handbasin with mixer tap, as well as a fitted vanity unit and wall-mounted mirrors. Beds are provided by a convertible front saloon double that emerges from the comfortable sitting area, while two offside singles, one of which is overhead, complete the rest of the berths. The nearside kitchen area is well equipped with a recessed Spinflo hob, grill and oven as well as a Thetford 96-litre fridge and Spinflo sink.

The 470/4 looks great inside and has a light and spacious feel because of the Heki sun roof that tilts for added ventilation and comes with a smart lighting system fitted to the surrounding ceiling areas. This open effect is increased by a panoramic front window, while the interior looks great with the ‘Pacific’ upholstery and ‘Cherry’ wood veneer.

As is to be expected from a Bailey caravan, the Series 5 470/4 comes with a solid galvanised steel chassis from Al-Ko upon which a fully bonded body shell is constructed. Coming with a six-year integrity guarantee peace of mind should be assured, while the reliable water and heating system is provided by industry mainstay Truma.
